Baseball photo, the out of the box way
I’ve been sitting on this idea for a bit, letting it grow, figuring out what I actually want it to look like… and I’m finally ready to start putting it out there.
I’m starting to offer stylized sports sessions.
Not the typical stand there with your bat and smile (though we can still do that too if you want). This is something a little different. More controlled. More intentional. A little dramatic. A little gritty. The kind of images that actually feel like the sport you’ve put so much time into.
I love action shots, I really do. But there’s something about slowing things down and creating an image on purpose that just hits different. The lighting, the pose, the expression, all of it working together instead of just hoping to catch the right moment.
These sessions are going to be outdoors, mostly in the evenings when the light is softer and a little moodier. I’ll be playing with light, shadows, and editing in a way that gives your photos more depth and more edge. Not overdone, just enough to make them stand out.
And honestly, this is for the athletes who want something a little more than the standard photos. The ones who live in their sport. The ones who want to remember this time in a way that actually feels like them.
Right now, I’m looking for a few athletes in different sports to help me build this out. Baseball, softball, soccer, football, dance, whatever you’ve got. I want variety and I want personality.
